Woohoo!

The Sox win the Series! That's enough happy to make me okay with the fact that I'll be staying up half the night to catch up on work!

I definitely got the feeling when up three games to none that our since our next pitcher recently beat cancer then I don't think the Colorado Rockies would be much of a challenge. I mean, the Colorado Rockies don't have hundreds of charity groups set up to raise money to fight people afflicted with the Rockies. By the same token, cancer can't be shut down with the simple effectiveness of an off-speed curveball.

It took us 86 years to win one World Series and now we have two. Life is good. It appears that the Yankees had the last millenium to dominate and the Red Sox get the next one. It's not our fault that baseball wasn't invented until the tail end of the last millenium. You had a good run, Yankees. I look forward to seeing your next 1000 of futility. I must say that you're off to a good start. Way to own your mediocrity! Make it work for you.
